STUBHUB CENTER FOUNDATION AND LA GALAXY FOUNDATION TO HOST NINTH ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT

 Foundations partner with Goodwill SOLAC to help collect household items for donation in celebration of Earth Month

 CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, April 1, 2015) – StubHub Center Foundation and the LA Galaxy Foundation will host the Ninth Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 3, 2015 at StubHub Center from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. PT. The sold-out event will feature LA Galaxy players, LA Galaxy Star Squad members, StubHub Center Street Team, LA Galaxy mascot Cozmo and the Easter Bunny, provided by Southbay Pavilion Mall.

 The Ninth Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on the Track and Field Stadium at StubHub Center with more than 1,000 children and their families participating in the Easter Egg Hunt and activities.

 Activities include arts and crafts, face painting, a visit from the LA County Fire Department – Engine Co. 116 fire truck, MB Landscaping & Pot Planting, Southbay Pavilion Mall, Yogurtland, Hot Dog on a Stick, Wildlife Learning Center, City of Carson Kiwanis Club and more. Candy, Easter baskets, and prizes will be provided by Nestlé USA. Additionally, McDonald’s will provide McFlurry coupons for all attendees.

 In celebration of Earth Month, the StubHub Center Foundation and LA Galaxy Foundation will also partner with Goodwill, Serving the People of Southern Los Angeles County (SOLAC) to help collect household items for donation. Guests may drive up and drop off their donated household items in parking Lot 17 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm PT before checking in or after leaving the Egg Hunt.

 All household items will be collected by Goodwill SOLAC, except for the following: hazardous materials, weapons, large appliances and exercise equipment, construction materials, car seats, and cribs. Goodwill SOLAC partners with the community, transforming donated goods into job training, education and placement services for individuals with barriers to employment.
