STUBHUB CENTER TO HOST 2014 REEBOK CROSSFIT GAMES JULY 25-27

CARSON, CALIF. (Wednesday, July 9, 2014) – StubHub Center announced today that the 2014 Reebok CrossFit Games will be hosted at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. from July 25-27, marking a fifth consecutive year that the games will be held at the venue.

Two levels of spectator passes were made available this year. Silver Tickets are available for $125 for the three-day event, and will have access to the soccer stadium, vendor village, SME booths, The CrossFit(R) Experience area and fan workout zones. All-access Gold Tickets, which also include access to the tennis stadium during the afternoon and evening, have already sold out.  Silver Tickets are available for purchase at www.stubhubcenter.com and at StubHub Center box offices.

The 2014 Reebok CrossFit Games are the world's definitive test of fitness. Join thousands of fans from around the world as they cheer on the Fittest on Earth™ as they compete for their share of the $1.75 million dollar prize purse.

Each day will begin in the soccer stadium, and finish under the lights of the tennis stadium. Gates will open to the public at 8 a.m., and action in the soccer stadium will take place until approximately 3 p.m. (subject to change). The remaining events each day will take place in the tennis stadium until approximately 8 p.m. (6 p.m. on Sunday).

Last year, the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games was the most successful event in the competition’s seven-year history. Over 50,000 guests and athletes attended the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games at StubHub Center from July 26-28 to see athletes from over 19 nations compete for the title of Fittest on Earth™. Over 138,000 athletes from 118 different nations tried out in the CrossFit Open in an effort to qualify for the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games.

This year, 209,000 people from 17 different regions signed up for the CrossFit Games Open, a five-week, online, worldwide qualifier for the CrossFit Games. Of these athletes, 43 individual men, 43 individual women, 43 teams, and 200 Masters athletes will compete in the Games.
